Ernest Eugene
Ernest Eugene Fulton, 85, of Tucson, AZ, and formerly of Marrietta, OH died Thursday, January 17, 2008, at home in Tucson, after a brief illness.
Born in Lower Salem, OH, Ernie was the eighth of twelve children born to Nicholas and Tessie (Kuhn) Fulton. After serving in the Army Air Corps during WWII as an aircraft mechanic, Ernie and his wife Helen (Plas) of La Grange, OH moved to Tucson, where they raised three children. Ernie retired from the State of Arizona's Department of Weights and Measures. Survivors include his sisters, Betty Schoepner and Bonnie Boley, of Marietta, OH; daughters, Susan Sinclair and Pamela Fey, of Tucson; son, Thomas Eugene Fulton, of Washington, DC; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Helen in May 2002.
Mass will be offered 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at St. Cyril of Alexandria Catholic Church, 4725 E. Pima St. Burial to follow in Holy Hope Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 21, 2008 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.
