Obituary, Arizona Daily Star, 25 Jan 2003 Casimiro V. Gallego 74, went to be with the Lord January 22, 2003. Casi was from a longtime pioneer ranching family. Preceded in death by wife, Esther Pesquiera; siblings, Lupe Trejo, Jesus, Frank, Florencio. Survived by sons, Casimiro Daniel (Janice Roughton-Gallego), David (Pauline), Delbert (Laura) and daughter, Marie Denise Moreno (Dino); beloved grandfather of 12 grandchildren, Coreen G. (Lawrence) Gartner, Christine, Adrianna, Clairise, Daniel, Michelle, Marissa, Delbert A. and David Gallego, Dino, Stephen and Alec Moreno; sisters, Antonia Trejo, Delia Barredo (Manuel), Lydia Santa Cruz, Maria Cruz Badilla, Lolita Garcia; brothers, Armando (Rachel) of Upland, CA, Mike (Olga). We will truly miss his smile and great storytelling talent. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 26, 2003 from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, (South Chapel), 204 S. Stone with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Monday, January 27, 2003, 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Cathedral. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
