OBITUARY LEWIS S. SCHILLING (sic) DIES IN ARIZONA Lewis S. Schilling, 81, a resident of Adams County most of his life, died at 4:30 o'clock this morning at his home, 2865 West Palmetto Street, Tucson, Ariz. He had been seriouly ill for the past four weeks. He was born two miles east of Decatur, Jan 24, 1884, a son of Joseph and Margaret Troutner - Schilling. He lived on a farm six miles east of Decatur near the state line for 43 years until the family moved to Tucson in 1955. Mr. Schilling was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tucson, and while a resident of the Decatur area, was a member of the First Baptist Church of this city. Surviving are his wife, the former Dora M. Hower; one son, Arden L. Schilling, and a granddaughter, Carolyn Sue Schilling, all of Tucson, and one sister Mrs. Hubert (Mary Schilling) Zerkel Sr., of 417 Fifth Street, Decatur. Funeral Services will be held Monday at the Brings funeral home in Tucson, with burial in Grantwood Memorial Park in Tucson.
