WINKLER, Evelyn May

From the Arizona Daily Star (August 9, 2009): WINKLER, Evelyn May, of Tucson, Arizona, ended her journey on Earth on August 5, 2009. She was born near Dayton, Ohio on February 11, 1924. Her husband, Frank Winkler, preceded Evelyn in death, January 26, 2007. One son, Frank Alan Winkler, and two grandchildren, Jennifer and Joshua Winkler, survive. Others grieving Evelyn's passing include a sister-in-law, Martha and her husband, Bill Hoover and a brother-in-law, Dr. Gerald Lloyd and his wife, Jeannie. After they retired in Tucson, Frank and Evelyn traveled extensively throughout the world, as well as volunteering in schools, hospitals and church activities. At Evelyn's request, there will be no services. Her remains will be interred in Saguaro Christian Church's memorial garden beside her husband at a later date.
