FLOYD, Durran Charlie

Durran Floyd was the son of Elizabeth Talley Otts and the late Ray Otts. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the US Marine Corps. He moved to Melbourne, FL where he was a member of the Melbourne Church of God. The last five years he had resided in Tuscon, AZ where he was employed by the US Postal Service. He is survived by his wife Catherine Floyd, of Tuscon, a daughter Angie Hagar of Thorton, Colorado, a son Christopher Durran Floyd of Palm Bay, FL and four grandchildren. Also surviving are his mother, Elizabeth Otts and brother Jack Floyd, both of Rome, GA. Interment was in the Southern Memorial Cemetery, Fort Hauchuca, AZ on July 20, 2009. A memorial service was held in Rome, GA at the Friendship Baptist Church on July 26, 2009.
