The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 05/12/2006 Billie Louise Hamblin Peterson, 78, died May 6, 2006 in Mesa. She was born Aug. 22, 1927 in Miami. She was loved and will be missed. She is survived by her husband, Orville Max Peterson; three daughters, Arlie (Alan) Porter, Julie (Marvin) Kerby and Catherine Caldwell (Tony Mackelprang); four sons, Steven E. (Peggy) Peterson, David 'Del' I. Peterson, Frank P. (Beth) Peterson and David A. Peterson; one sister, Willa Dean Lamb; 30 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 Friday, May 12 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2220 N. Harris in Mesa with a visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Graveside services will be held at noon Saturday, May 13 at the Lakeside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Billie Peterson Memorial Fund (Grandchildren Missionary Fund) at all Desert Schools F.C.U., Acct. number 722496-04.
