Roy Williams, 48, died April 13, 2006 in Flagstaff.
Roy was born June 8, 1957 in Tuba City. He attended Tuba City and Strawberry Elementary schools. He attended Intermountain Boarding School in Brigham, Utah where he graduated with honors in welding. Roy worked at Bethlehem Steel in San Jose, Calif, Phoenix Brickyard in Phoenix, Stirling Fence in Lakeside; Grand Canyon National Parks, FATCO, Whiteriver Physical Therapy (work study program), and Whiteriver Hospital Security.
Roy enjoyed silversmithing in his free time. In 1986, Roy received basic training in the Army National Guard at Fort Leonardwood, Miss., and received an honorable discharge in 1989.
Roy is survived by two daughters, Felesha and Janna Williams; stepson, Juan Leon Cervantes; ex-spouse, Etta Williams; parents, Ross and Jeannette Williams of Cameron; sisters, Emma, Mary and Betty; and brother, Thomas. He had many nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.
Services were held April 19 at the Nazarene Church of Cameron with Pastor Allen officiating. He was laid to rest with military honors at the Cameron Community Cemetery.
