DURHAM, Grace (Shortie)

Grace (Shortie) Durham, age 92, passed away on June 7th, at a local care facility. A Celebration of Life will be at the Dog Wood Plaza, 1755 N. Linda Vista Ln., 2 - 4 p.m., Saturday, June 12. Grace was born Jan. 19, 1918 in Pecan Gap, Texas to Thomas and Della Houston, one of nine children. She married Malcolm "Dick" Durham at age 18 and started a family. They had five children. Grace is survived by daughters, Donna Jay and Lynda Stalder, son, Jim Durham, Boise, Idaho, 10 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Dick, and sons Fred and Gordon, parents, and eight siblings. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband in Ajo, Ariz.
