HEAIRLD, Joseph P.

Joseph P. Heairld, 87, of Yuma, died June 28, 2008, at Palm View Rehabilitation and Care Center.

He was born July 9, 1920, in Chesapeake, Ohio, and was a retired engineer for Phelps Dodge Copper Mine.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Winterhaven Assembly of God Church. Burial will be at Ajo Cemetery.

Yuma Mortuary and Crematory is handling local arrangements.
