HOGE, Maria

Maria M. Hoge peacefully passed away on February 23, 2010. She was born on August 15, 1912, in Caborca, México to Alfredo Monreal and Concepción Martinez. Preceded in death by her husband, George E. Hoge; son, John E. Hoge; sisters, Carmelita Corella, Amada Mota and Sara Monreal; and brother, Norbert Monreal. She came to the mining community of Ajo, Arizona within a few months of birth and spent most of her adult life in Ajo. She is survived by her son, George M. Hoge; brother, David Monreal (Anna Lydia) and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ajo, AZ. and followed by burial in the Ajo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation be made to your preferred charity. Gratitude to the caring staffs of Casa de la Luz, Ascension In Home Medical Care Home, Odyssey Health Care and Rosa's Little House for their loving care.
