BORT, Florence Ruth (Marty)

Florence Martell Bort was the daughter of Clyde Wesley Martell and Esther Martell. Florence was the granddaughter of George Martell. Florence's great grandparents were Eliza (Elizabeth) Hake Martell and Bonami Martell. The parents of Eliza Hake Martell were Conrad Hake and Susanna Haas Hake. Clyde Wesley Martell, Florence's father, was born on 28 August 1897. In 1917, Clyde was a school teacher at an agricultural school. He was living in Fennimore, Grant County, Wisconsin. In 1937, Clyde W. Martell and Esther Martell, were living in Dubuque, Iowa. Clyde was a teacher. In 1946 Clyde Martell, was a principal, at South Beloit, High School, living in South Beloit, Wisconsin. Esther L. Martell was employed by WEBM Company.
