Deceased Name: Taylor T. Lowry, Jr.
1924 - 2004 Home with our Lord on September 3rd, preceded in death by son, Taylor III; father, Taylor, Sr. and three brothers. Loving his country and having been honored to serve Taylor retired from the US Army, Infantry (Major) in 1965, and afterwards worked with several organizations and businesses, his last being as property manager for Crain & Associates. After surviving for 18 days in a plane crash, serving with the "Alaskan Scouts" in 1945, Taylor made a commitment to God, and has fulfilled that promise in holding leadership roles in numerous Christian and civic organizations throughout his life.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Alma; and his honored mother, Victoria Lowry, along with four brothers and sisters.
Memorial service will be held Friday, September 10, 2004, at 100 p.m. at Catalina United Methodist Church Chapel, 2700 E. Speedway. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gospel Rescue Mission.
