Betty J. Lindstrom, 80, of The Waterford died Thursday at home following a brief illness. A reception for the celebration of Betty's life will be Monday, Feb. 12, 2007 at 1 p.m., at the Waterford Forum. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Big Sky Cremations. Survivors include her husband, D. Duane Lindstrom; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela J. and Harvey Whitehead, of Wasilla, Ala.; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry D. and Barbara Lindstrom, of Potomac, Md.; daughter, Kimberly J. Lindstrom, of Helena; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Betty was born to Walter and Edna Bridges in Laurel in 1926. In 1959, Betty and Duane built one of the first cabins at the end of the road on the West Shore of Canyon Ferry Lake, where the family spent much of their recreational time. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Edna Bridges and her brother, James Bridges, all of Helena. Memorials may be made in Betty's name to Jehovah's Witnesses.
