"Give until it hurts." Rare sort of kindness in him which made this his personal mantra. Served in US Marines and Air Force military. Served during WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War. Member of Mosquito Association, Air Force Sergeants Association. Pima County Sheriff Department 1969-1985. Earned Associate of Arts Degree in Corrections 1972. Knew Christ as his personal Savior and Lord through the Methodist Church. Member of the Moose Lodge and Masons. Volunteer advisor for DeMolays and Boy Scouts of America. Preceded in death by son, Keith Daniel. Survived by wife of fifty-three years, Doris; Daughter, Donna (John) Jacobs ad grandchildren, Josiah, Christopher and Rebecca Ray; also Aimee Barnes and two greatgrandchildren.
