From the Arizona Daily Star (August 3, 2009): SMITH, Harold Eugene, 72, of Vail, AZ died Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at home. He was the son of the late Ernest and Mary Smith, of Hagerstown. Harold was born August 30, 1936 in Keedysville, MD. Survived by his wife, Mary V. Smith; son, Harold (Stacey) Smith, Jr; daughters, Kimberly Barker and Stephanie (David) Walkley; brother, Ernest Smith; sisters, Gladys Mills, Mary E. Weagley and Helen Ganoe; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. Burial to follow in Desert Vista Cemetery.
