PALMER, Robert B.


Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Wednesday, June 24, 2009 Robert B. Palmer, 87, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009, peacefully in his sleep. He was born on June 26, 1921, in Chicago, Ill., to Roy and Elizabeth (Beach) Palmer. Robert and his wife Eileen retired to Lake Havasu City in 1986. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. Robert was a member of the Moose Lodge, B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge, Eagles Aerie No. 4299, and served as an active member of his community. He also was a volunteer of the Chamber of Commerce Visitors Information Center and Vice President of the Computer Club. His hobbies included computers, woodworking and photography. Robert was a loving and social man who really loved life and despite many obstacles, he lived it to the fullest. He was a wonderful father and loving husband, who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Robert is survived by his wife of 45 years, Eileen Palmer; son, Floyd (Phyllis); daughters, Donna (Randi), and Sandra (John); grandchildren, Jennifer, Domini and John Robert, Carly and Joey.
