Today's News-Herald Published Friday, June 19, 2009 8:43 AM MST Christopher “Chris” Patry, 82, passed away June 12, 2009, in Lake Havasu City. He was born to Christian and Sara (Houchin) Patry on June 5, 1927, in Lake City, Ark. He served his country proudly under the direction of the U.S. Army for two years during World War II. Chris served as Head Deacon for 24 years in Lake Havasu Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He loved God and his church and family. He expressed his love for family and friends through his love of poems and humorous sensitive writings. He devoted his life to the care of his loving parents. His family and friends will miss him dearly. Chris leaves behind his beloved sister, Trula Strickland; brother, Tipton Patry; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chris’ memory to the Adventist Disaster Relief Association (ADRA), P.O. Box 1708, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.
