Today's News-Herald Published Wednesday, June 17, 2009 Carol Dorothy Williams passed away on June 6, 2009, in Lake Havasu City. She was born on June 9, 1939, in Detroit, Mich., to Ernest and Elsie (Riek) Provo. Carol was an active member of the LDS Church and she was a very gifted artist. She is survived by her son, Jake Williams; daughter, Carolyn Lampshire; grandsons, William and Thomas Lampshire; and best friend, Marilyn Tatge. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Williams; mother, Elsie Provo; and father, Ernest Provo. Services will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. at Desert Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory. Condolences can be sent to the family at lakehavasumortuary.com.
