Suzanne Eleanore Fletcher, 69, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2009, at her residence in Lake Havasu City. She was born on July 26, 1939, in Woodland, Calif., to Richard and Eleanor (Anstey) Gray.
Suzanne and her husband Charles moved to Lake Havasu City 10 years ago from Eugene, Ore., where she worked as a secretary for Conrad Sheffer. In Eugene, Suzanne was very active with the Girl Scouts of America for many years. In Lake Havasu City, she enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling and being outdoors. She was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church and B.P.O.E. Lodge #2399.
Suzanne is survived by her husband of 19 years, Charles; sons, Robert William Bates, Salt Lake City, Utah, Richard Keith Bates, Portland, Ore.; daughter, Lisa Renee’ Gibson, Springfield, Ore.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date in Springfield, Ore.
