Roger Ray Weiman passed away on June 10, 2009, in Lake Havasu City. He was born on Sept. 16, 1939, in South Gate, Calif., to Raymond Weiman and Martha Morrison.
Roger was known by many for his involvement in boat manufacturing and racing. As a young man, he took over and helped to flourish the boat business known as Roger's Custom Boats. He owned and operated this successful business for more than 30 years. He also raced boats when he was a younger man, as well as motorcycles.
Roger was a warm, loving, generous, knowledgeable, larger-than-life man; a wonderful father and loving husband who will be deeply missed by his family, friends and many acquaintances in the boat business.
Roger is survived by his son, Kelly (Monica) Weiman and grandchildren Aaron and Zachary; his daughter, Deanna (Michael) Kingsbury and grandchildren Tyler and Isabella. His parents and his ex-wife Jessie Marilyn Lord precede him in death.
