Mildred M. Paschal, age 97, a 34-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010. Mildred was born November 12, 1912, to parents Mike and Alice McAvoy of Rush City, Minn., and she attended Rush City High School. After graduation, she married Harold Truesdell and had a son, LeMoyne. After the death of her husband, she moved to Minneapolis and worked as a manager of a large apartment complex. In 1940, she moved to California where she met her husband of 68 years, Vance Paschal. They both worked at Douglas Aircraft Company during World War II. Their son, Michael, was born in 1946 in Inglewood, Calif. In 1976, they retired and moved to Bullhead City. Mildred was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mildred is survived by her husband, Vance; two sons, LeMoyne Truesdell (Connie) of Las Vegas and Michael Paschal (Marsha) of Henderson, Nev.; five grandchildren, James Truesdell (Sharon) of Virginia, Jeffery Truesdell (Lisa) of Colorado, Julie Truesdell of Maine, Mark Paschal and Michelle Paschal of Henderson, Nev.; and two great-grandchildren, Steven and David Truesdell of Colorado. She will be cremated and there will not be a service. The family requests any donations be made in Mildred's name to "New Hope Hospice," 3650 Pointe Circle, Ste. 112, Laughlin, Nev. 89029.
