LEVENS, Melissa Annette


Melissa Annette Levens, 37, passed away at YRMC on Tuesday, February 15, 2005. She was born in Yuma on May 11, 1967. Melissa graduated from Kofa High School in 1985. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church. She was a proud mother. She loved her sons, mom and dad and her family very much. Melissa is survived by her parents, Bruce and Sandy Levens, of Yuma; sons, Steven, Patrick and Andrew Valenzuela, of Tuscon, Ariz.; brother, Tommy (Vivian) Levens, of Dallas, Texas; grandmothers, Dorothy Eagen and Nita White, both of Yuma; uncle, Terry (Betty) Eagen, of Heber, Ariz.; aunt, Patti Marler, of Las Vegas, Nev.; nephew, Tommy Levens, of Dallas, Texas; nieces, Heidi (Mike) Levens-Rubash, of Yuma and Breanna Levens, of Dallas, Texas; cousins, Jimmy Marler, Kimmie (Frankie) Marler-Lombardo, Ronnie (JoeAnne) Marler and Jeffery Marler, all of Las Vegas, Nev. and Ryan (Renita) Eagen, of Heber, Ariz.; several cousins, Francesca, Frankie, Kimmie, Trishie, and Logan Lombardo, of Las Vegas, Nev. Melissa was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Clyde and Anna Mae McCarty, grandfathers, Robert Eagen and Tom White. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at Johnson Mortuary. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with burial at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. Donations may be made to Hospice of Yuma, 1824 S. 8th Ave. Melissa you will be greatly missed, but not forgotten.
