ROBLES, Jose Cordova

Jose Cordova Robles passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Southeast Arizona Medical Center. Jose was born in Pirtleville, Arizona on March 1, 1910 to Rafael and Refugio C. Robles. He is preceded in death by his wife of 73 years Kitty, his parents and brother Rafael. He is survived by his son, Joe (Grace) Robles, daughters, Gloria Santa Cruz and Sylvia (Reyes) Vasquez, 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Jose retired from Phelps dodge Smelter after 45 years. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed planting his vegetable garden every year. He was a very dedicated and loving Husband, Father, Tata, and Friend. He will be greatly missed! A Rosary for Jose will be recited at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at St. Luke's Catholic Church followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
