MARTINEZ, Gilbert Oveido

Gilbert O. Martinez, 82, of Solomon, AZ, passed away August 31, 2003. He is survived by his wife Alicia; sons, Tom Gilbert and Chris all of Chandler, and Danny of Tucson; daughters Margaret Valenzuela of Buckeye, Barbara Chavarria of Safford, and Gloria Martinez of Tucson, and by 28 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2003, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Sept 5, at the Church. Burial will take place at the Safford Cemetery with honors by the American Legion Post #95 of Solomon. Arrangements by Adair Funeral Home, Dodge Chapel, Tucson, AZ.
