Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Wednesday, June 10, 2009 Judith Valerie Lexa, 68, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, of heart problems. She was born on Dec. 5, 1940, in Oakpark, Ill., to Everett and Genevieve (Fuches) Wilson. Judith moved to Lake Havasu City 10 years ago from Whittier, Calif., where she was a first grade teacher for the Montebello School District for 20 years. Judith enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting and traveling. She traveled 49 of our 50 states with the see America first attitude. Judith was a member of the Judy Club here in Havasu and she enjoyed their company. Judith is survived by her husband of 51 years, Paul Lexa, Lake Havasu City; sons, Scott Lexa, of Lake Havasu City, Mic (Annette) Lexa, of Sobieski, Wis.; grandchildren, James Curtiss and Milinda Morrow, of California, Amber and Aaron Lexa, of South Dakota; and two great-grandchildren. Judith had just gotten a new puppy that misses her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and daughter, Catherine.
