Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Tuesday, June 29, 2010 Donald Ray Robinson passed away Monday, June 28, 2010, in Lake Havasu City at the age of 72. Don, as he was known to his family and many friends, was born on Jan. 20, 1938, in Wichita, Kan., to Raymond and Treva (Gregory) Robinson. Following high school, Don attended Wichita State University. He retired as an electrical engineer with Gates Lear Jet, having worked there for 36 years. Don and his wife, Lois, moved to Lake Havasu City from Wichita 10 years ago. They were members of St. Michaels United Methodist Church and together they enjoyed traveling and boating. Don was also a member of the Desert Hawks RC Flying Club. Don is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lois; daughter, Catherine Deann Robinson, of Wichita, Kan.; sisters, Rilla Belle McCutcheon, of Udall, Kan., and Vicki Lynn Forsberg, of Lake Havasu City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Treva Robinson; son, David Ray Robinson; and brother, Terry Scounce Robinson. A memorial service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s United Methodist Church. The Rev. Thomas Mattick will offer words of comfort and inspiration. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Don’s name to the St. Michaels United Methodist Women, 2895 S.
