HOLMES, Katherine G.

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 10, 1981 Katherine G. Holmes, Traverse City, Mich., died in her home of a heart attack on Aug. 30. Russell and Katherine Holmes were well known winter visitors in Wickenburg. They came to La Siesta Motel in 1961 and returned every winter since then. The last 4 years were spent at the Desert Cypress Trailer Ranch where they had a mobile home. Mrs. Homes is survived by her husband, Russell; a son, Jack; and a daughter, Ardelle Magel. The Holm would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 12. Memorials may be directed to the Cherryland Humane Society, 3200 N. Keystone Rd., Traverse City, Mich. 49684, of which Mrs. Holmes was a charter member.
