Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, June 30, 2010 Byrtha Sue Turner, 78 of Roosevelt Lake Arizona, passed away quietly on June 6, 2010. She was born on Jan. 20, 1934 in Burbec, Illinois. Mother, sister and friend “Susie” was a retired cosmetologist and a member of The Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and the Zeta Kappa Sorority. She is survived by her large and loving family, including three sisters, Thelma Thrasher, Vicky Dubson and Betty Senne; brother, Bill Welch all of Illinois; three sons, Donald Turner, Roderic Turner and Jeffery Turner; daughter, Connie Turner and her step-daughter and close friend, Sandy Byers as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Arther “Dean” Turner of Mclean, Illinois. A memorial service was held at the Roosevelt Baptist Church, Highway 188 Mile Marker 233 on Saturday, June 26, 2010. Reverend Wilcox delivered the service. Interment will be held at East Resthaven Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern Ave. Phoenix, Arizona.
