Francis Janelle Standifer entered into rest on June 28, 2010 at her home at Casa De Carino in Tucson, Arizona.
Born Francis Janelle Robison, July 25, 1925, in McKinney, Texas. Daughter of Cecil Clayton (Jack) and Minnie Myrtle Robison. One of seven siblings: two brothers: preceded in death C. Wayne Robison, Thomas D. Robison; two surviving brothers, Carl R. Robison and Jacky Don Robison; two surviving sisters, Billy P. Hanna and Doris M. Fry.
Married to Landen George "Shorty" Standifer, October 31, 1942, who preceded her in death June 24, 2002. She had four children, Landen G. "Bo" Standifer, Tucson, AZ, Connie S. Cutlip, Pinedale, WY, Sandra K. Standifer, Lake Havasu, City, AZ, Carole A. Barbeau, Tucson, AZ.
Janelle was a former resident of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, moving back to Tucson in 2009. Janelle had ten grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Landen at South Lawn Cemetery on July 1, 2010. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. followed by a private graveside prayer and release of balloons.
