Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona October 29, 1981 Morristown News Morristown suffers a great loss, Ben Crowder left Morristown on Oct. 16 after 37 years in our community. Ben was survived by his wife Cassie, two daughters and a son, two brothers, five sisters and four grandchildren. In recent years, most of us remember Ben for his happy smile and friendly greetings as he traveled on Eighth Street. A Mason ceremony was held at graveside on October 20 at the Morristown Cemetery for Mr. Crowder. In memory for Ben Crowder, in respect for his loving wife Cassie and in memory of all the souls in the Morristown Cemetery, Gloria Foster of Morristown School in looking into working with the community in making a restoration and beautification of the town’s cemetery part of a school project.
