WELSH, Francis J.

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona December 3, 1981 Francis J. Welsh, 53, who has been bar manager of Rancho de los Caballeros for a period of nearly 20 years, died while attending his duties at the Ranch at approximately 10:30 a.m. December 1st. Mr. Welsh, originally from Watertown, Mass. met and married Mildred Spath of Salmon, Idaho while both were employees at the Ranch. They had been married since 1963. Mr. Welsh is survived by the widow, two boys, Charles, Phoenix and Ronald, Wickenburg. Ronald works as a wrangler at the Ranch. Other survivors include Mr. Welsh’s mother, Alice, Watertown, Mass, two sisters Alice Burns, Watertown, Mass., Mary McLaughlin, Alston, Mass. and three brothers Henry, Albert and James. Mrs. Francis (Edie) Hayman, co-owner of the Ranch expressed the sentiments of all the hundreds of Wickenburg friend and fellow employees of Mr. Welsh with a brief epitaph. “We all just lost a real good and old friend.” Funeral services are not complete. The arrangement will be made by Wickenburg Funeral Home.
