MURPHY, Willie H.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 05/26/2006 Willie H. Murphy, 71, St. Johns, died May 18, 2006 at RTA Hospice and Palliative Care in Lakeside. Willie was born in Querino Canyon March 1, 1935. As a young man he worked in construction. Later he worked for the St. Johns School District in maintenance. He liked fixing cars and enjoyed fishing. His survivors are wife, Faye Murphy, St. Johns; sons, Gary Joe and Garold Murphy; daughters, Teresa Joe Lenora Nez, Loretta Murphy, Shirlene Murphy, Janice Murphy and Ivana Murphy. Also, brothers Alvin, Wayne, Elliot and Eugene Murphy; and sister, Dorothy Six; 21 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. His parents and one sister preceded him in death. Funeral services were held in Sanders at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Saturday, May 20. Interment was at the Houck Cemetery, Houck. Burnham Mortuary, St. Johns handled the arrangements.
