BEISSEL, Doris F.

Doris F. Beissel, of Grass Lake, Michigan, age 88, passed away Monday August 29, 2005 at the Country Meadows Care Facility in Grass Lake. The former Doris Sealy was born on June 6, 1917 in Hurley, Wisconsin the daughter of Earl Sealy and Emma (Duval) Sealy. Doris had lived in the area since June 2004 coming from Ann Arbor. She enjoyed publishing Grammer Text Books with her husband, reading, crossword puzzles, and helped organized a womens pool playing group. Surviving were, 2 sons Denis (Yin) Beissel of Manhattan New York, New York, and Mark (Ellen) Beissel of Chelsea. 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Beissel and her daughter-in-law Amy B. Beissel also 2 sisters, Naomi Simpson, and Glenna Baird.
