MARTINEZ, Jose F.

Jose F. Martinez 87, born June 15, 1919, passed away March 1, 2007. Survived by his beloved wife, Socorro G. Martinez; daughter, Dolores (Albert) Camacho; son, Joe John Martinez; daughter, Patricia (Antonio) Gonzalez; son, Rudy (Mariane) Martinez; sister, Anita Espinoza; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren. While serving honorable for his country in the United States Army, during WW II. He received the Asiatic-Pacific company ribbon with two stars and the purple heart with two stars. He fought a courageous battle in WW II and also in his fight with cancer. The family would like to thank all the staff from Odyssey Health Care. They were our angels. The visitation will be held at San Martin de Porres Mission, 15440 Santa Rita Rd. Sahuarita on March 5, 2007 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with the rosary at 7:00 P.M. Mass will be held on March 6, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at San Martin, immediately follwing the burial at Green Valley Mortuary. Published in the Tucson on 3/4/2007.
