Obituary, Arizona Daily Star, 11 Nov. 2002 Guadalupe S. Olivas Born January 17, 1920 in Amado, Arizona, went to be with Our Lord on November 9, 2002. Lupe was preceded in death by her husband, Filiberto B. Olivas; daughter, Fidelina; her parents; brothers; and sister. She is survived by her children, Hector (Ofelia) Olivas, Enedina (Gus) Esquivel, Elias (Beatrice) Olivas, Pedro Olivas, Teri (Al) Aros; grandchildren, Sandra, Francisco, Amanda, and Monica Olivas; sister, Socorro Orozco; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2002 at Green Valley Mortuary Chapel, 2200 North La Canada Drive in Sahuarita, Arizona from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 13, 2002, 9:00 a.m. at San Martin de Porres Mission, 16440 South Santa Rita Road in Sahuarita, Arizona. Interment to follow at Green Valley Memorial Gardens. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Southern Arizona Alzheimer's Association. The family wishes to thank the staff at Andrea's Hacienda Annex for their loving care and support.
