WARREN, Beverly Ann


TUCSON, Ariz. — Beverly Ann Warren, 67, passed away suddenly at University Hospital, Tucson, May 3, 2007. Born and raised in the Lisbon area, she relocated to Long Beach, Calif., in 1968. There she worked for Hughes Market chain and later as a nurse at St. Mary's Hospital. Upon retirement, she moved to Green Valley, Ariz., and worked for the Green Valley News for the last six years. She loved working with people. She traveled the world over, and her hobbies included reading, gardening and playing mah-jongg. She was also active in the Lions Club of Green Valley. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice Novak of Lisbon; and her brother, James Novak of Long Beach, Calif. She is survived by her son, Roger Warren; her grandson, Dakota Dale Warren of Salem; and her sister, Rosemary Brophy of Green Valley, Ariz. Services were held May 16, 2007 at 10 a.m., at Green Valley Mortuary, 18751 La Canada Drive, Green Valley, with the Rev. Bob Gregory officiating. 5/19/07
