Johnny P. Cupis
Known by many as Johnny "B" Good, passed away in a tragic death on March 5, 2004 at the age of 45.
Johnny is survived by his mother, Tina Rico and his father, Johnny N. Cupis Sr. (Sylvia); his brother, Joseph (Norma); sister, Rosemary; son, Johnito (Nicole); long time companion, Cecilia; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Debbie; grandson, Damian; grandparents, Chema and Teresa Cupis, Fermin and Aurelia Pedroza.
Johnny served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He worked for numerous painting companies and was known to be a hard worker that enjoyed his work as a painter. Johnny's dream and heart was that someday he would become a professional boxer. In 1975 at the age of 16, Johnny fought his first fight in the Las Vegas Amateur Boxing Tournament. He had a love for Harley's. He grew up in Barrio Libre, but led a very hard life as he was growing up. He had a special way about him that touched a lot of lives with his sense of humor, seeing the good in others and always giving the extra mile to help others in need. We Love You and we will all miss you, remember Johnny "B" Good!
An all night vigil will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 14, 2004 at El Senor De Los Milagros, 3410 S. 16th Ave with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be held on Monday, March 15, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. at El Senor De Los Milagros with burial following at Monte Calvaro at The New Pascua Yaqui Cemetery.
