Gabriel "Gavey" Frias "Señor, Tu me ves cuando marcho y cuando descanso, Tu me comprendes mis pensamientos" Born April 18, 1974, Gavey, beloved son, father, brother and uncle went home to our heavenly Father, Itom Achai on January 1, 2007. Preceded in death by grandparents, Juan and Dolores Frias; Felipe and Dolores Galaz; brother, Ernesto Frias and niece, Blanca Frias. Survived by his parents, Juan Frias Sr. and Lupe Frias; sons, Nicolas Martin Castillo, Dylan Eduardo Frias and daughter, Elizabeth Gabriela Frias; fiancé, Mildred Valdez; brothers, Juan (Leticia) Frias, Ramon (Delia) Frias; sisters, Dolores (Ruben) Matus, Lupe Alvarez, Herminia Frias; nephews, Juan, Arturo, Ernesto, Ramon, Ruben, Ramiro, Abram; nieces, Veronica, Angelic, Larissa, Maressa, Renee and best friend, Robert Munoz. Gavey was a proud father who loved his children, family and culture. He will be missed and always be loved by his family, friends and Pascua Yaqui community. A traditional Yaqui all night vigil will take place on Sunday, January 7th, 2007 at Cristo Rey Church, 7500 S. Camino Benem (Pascua Pueblo), Tucson, Arizona, Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 8, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Monte Calvario Cemetery.
