VALENZUELA, Jesus M.

Jesus M. Valenzuela, 78, was called to Heaven on June 17, 2009, when he lost the battle to cancer. Survived by his loving wife, Nellie; children, Nick (Sally), Rosemarie (Mario) Quezada, Olivia (Ron) Pesqueira, Jesus Jr. and Pablo; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, also sister, Maria (Tony) Varela and nieces. He volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital, was a member of Liogue Senior Center, served in religious events as a Eucharist Minister, Yaqui interpreter, and usher for the Catholic Diocese missions. Jesus was blessed with creative talents and made many things. A vigil will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Santa Rosa Church, 2015 N. Central. Rosary will start at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be on June 25, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at Santa Rosa Church. Burial to follow at New Pascua, at Monte Calvario Cemetery. --Arizona Daily Star (June 23, 2009)
