HENDEN, John Robert

John Robert Henden 77, of Tucson, AZ passed away peacefully on July 24, 2009. He was born February 18, 1932 in Hereford, TX, a son of the late Holger and Viola Henden. John was a retired engineer with Hughes Aircraft Company. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn; daughter, Catherine; brother, Holger and sister, Jenny. He is survived by his sister, Alma (Gary); sister-in-law, Elinor; cousin, Loretta (Jack); sons, Brian, Craig, Steven (Analise), and Michael; daughter, Annette; and grandsons, Alec, Kyle and Jacob. He enjoyed playing bridge, was an avid reader, and was a fan of U of A sports and MLB baseball. He is a graduate of Washington State University. He was a long-time member of St. Cyril's Parish. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a prayer vigil at 7:00 p.m. at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. Funeral Mass will be offered 10:00 am, Thursday, July 30, 2009 at St. Cyril of Alexandria Catholic Church, 4725 E. Pima St. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery.
