Graveside services with military honors will be at 10 am Thursday, Oct. 2, 2007, at the Pioneer's Home Cemetery, 1300 Iron Springs Road, Prescott, Ariz. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. ---------------------------- The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, October 18, 2007 James C. Oakley, 65, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., passed away Aug. 2, 2007, at his home in Prescott, Ariz. He lived in the Bradshaw Mountains. Jim was born April 10, 1942, in New York City. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who graduated from Arizona State University. He was the proud owner of an Arabian hors. Jim’s only living relative is Linda S. Appleton of Christiansted, Virgin Island. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Cortez Street at Carleton. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements.
