Arizona Daily Star, 5 April 2009 James Paul Preston 89, of San Xavier passed away April 2, 2009. Preceded in death by wife, Marie Clara Preston. Survived by daughters, Georgia Lopez, Eileen Preston, Lisa Sardina (James), Rosemary Roe, Gloria Romero (Alejandro); son, Ivan (Helen), Ernest (Joanne), Peter, Robert (Linda), Donald (Consuela), Thomas (Deborah), John, 27 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Including many nephews, nieces and extended family. Visitation will be held April 6, 2009 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Preston residence, San Xavier. Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 7 a.m. at San Xavier Mission, interment to follow at San Xavier Cemetery. Arrangements by MFC Burial Service, Tohono O'Odham Nation.
