Joseph Lynn Baldwin,71, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006.
Lynn was born Oct. 31, 1934 in Taylor to Marion Glen and Emily Hancock Baldwin. He spent most of his life and school in Taylor and Snowflake where he graduated from Snowflake High School. In 1954, he married Marcia Lynn Earl and they moved to Show Low where he worked at Show Low Auto Parts for over 27 years.
He then moved his family back to his roots in Taylor where he owned and operated his own auto parts and service station. Lynn was very well known and liked by all of the customers that he called on and serviced from Alpine to Holbrook, St. Johns to Heber.
Lynn was a member of the Taylor Stake and served in many positions. The one that he was most honored to perform was Stake Financial Clerk to President Lewis Tenney. He was a loving and cherished husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marcia Baldwin; four children, Mike (Dena) of Pinetop, Jeff (Tina) of Snowflake, Monica (David) Smith of Taylor and Guy of Taylor; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren with one on the way.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 24 at the Taylor Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 23 and again Saturday, June 24, one hour prior to services (10 a.m. Saturday) at the Taylor Stake Center. Burial will be in the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor.
