KIRO, Peter Lee


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/23/2006 Peter Lee Kiro, died June 17, 2006 in Ship Rock, N.M. He was born March 12, 1956 to Leroy Kiro and Ada D. Manygoats. He was of the Toda-Cheenie Clan and born for the Laguna Turquoise Clan. Peter is survived by his brother, Johnny Postlethwait of Indian Wells; two aunts, Josephine Manygoats of Holbrook and Indian Wells, and Angie (Roger) Blake of Tuba City; four uncles Richard (Helen) Manygoats of Pinon, Albert (Dorothea) Manygoats, Louise (Peggy) Manygoats of Page, and Larry (JoAnn) Manygoats of Denver, Colo.; and many cousins and friends in Arizona and New Mexico. His parents, his grandparents, Daniel and Jennie Manygoats of Indian Wells, and his paternal grandmother, Grace Valo of Laguna Pueblo, N.M, preceded him in death. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday June 23 at 11 a.m. (MST) at the Bita Hochee Broken Arrow Chapel in Bita Hochee. Owens Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
