JIMENEZ, Kandice Faith

AMARILLO, Texas - Kandice Faith Jimenez, 1, and Richard James Jimenez, 4 months, of Amarillo died Dec. 30, 2006 of injuries sustained in a vehicular accident on an icy road. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Rockwell Road Baptist Church, with the Rev. Paul Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Kandice was born Jan. 28, 2005. Richard was born Aug. 17, 2006. Survivors include their parents, Arron and Santana Jimenez of Amarillo; a sister, Anjolina Jimenez of Amarillo; and grandparents, Paul Chapman and Eve Suhl of Amarillo and Esmerelda Ledesma of Casa Grande. The father, Santana, is a U.S. Marine serving a third tour of duty in Iraq. The children's uncle, Patrick Suhl, also died while trying to rescue them before a train hit the vehicle.
