Elizabeth A. Ford, 89, of Lake Havasu City and formerly of Battle Creek, Mich., died Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at the Kairos Dwelling in Kalamazoo, Mich. She was born in Knox, Ind., Oct. 1, 1919, the daughter of Charles C. and Florence E. (Brown) Larrew. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School.
Elizabeth married Richard L. Ford in Battle Creek June 19, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1999. She is survived by her children; Stephen (Suzanne) Ford, of Columbus, Ohio, Michael (Linda) Ford, of Augusta, Mich., and Richard (Patti) Ford, of Houston; five grandchildren, Charles, Krista, David, Brett, and Kim; and four great-grandchildren. Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Catherine.
At Elizabeth’s request, cremation has taken place, and no services are currently being planned. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kairos Dwelling, 2945 Gull Road, Kalamazoo, MI 49048, would be appreciated. Arrangements were made by the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Richland Chapel.
