Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Tuesday, May 5, 2009 April 19, 1954 — April 21, 2009 Richard D. Cronin, 55, of Bombay Drive and formerly of Oxford, Mass., died unexpectedly, April 21, 2009, in Lake Havasu City. He is survived by two children, Keith R. Cronin, of Webster, Mass., and Kelly A. Cronin, of Millbury, Mass.; three sisters, Cindy L. Howard and Carol L. Mahoney, both of Sturbridge, Mass., and Cheryl L. Brown, Wales, Mass.; a grandson, Jack Macaulay, of Millbury, and his girlfriend, Sheila Bradshaw, of Arizona; and several nephews and nieces. He was born in Webster, Mass., the son of the late William and Pearl (Burlingame) Cronin, and lived in Oxford and Charlton, Mass., before moving to Arizona 11 years ago. He graduated from Concrete High School in Washington. Mr. Cronin owned and operated Prime Garage Doors in Lake Havasu City for 10 years. Previously, he was a welder at LaMountain Brothers Inc., in Oxford, Mass. He loved playing cards, especially Texas Hold ’em, and was a championship wrestler in high school. Most of all, he enjoyed being a grandfather and will be remembered as a jack-of-all-trades. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. A memorial service was held at 10 a.m., April 27, at Faith Baptist Church in Auburn, Mass. Burial will be at a later date at North Cemetery, Oxford, Mass.
