Ruth Lavonne Scott, 72, passed away April 20, 2009, in Lake Havasu City. She was born on Aug. 14, 1936, in Fort Gay, W.V., to Davis and Amanda Belle (Vicars) Borders.
Ruth was a self employed Realtor in Manitou Springs, Colo., before moving to Lake Havasu City nine years ago. She owned and operated a deli, gift shop, a real estate agency, a restaurant and lounge, all at different times of her life in Manitou Springs. She was a secretary for the United States Air Force Academy. She liked to paint and take trips to Laughlin. She liked to go to The Trails Inn Restaurant, however she never ate there. Ruth married her beloved husband on Oct. 19, 1953.
Ruth is survived by her husband Larry D. Scott; son Jeffery Scott (Cheryl); daughters Kathi West (Larry) and Theresa Proctor (Greg); six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
