Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg Arizona April 3, 1980 Vergil Wells, 72, Wikieup died on March 24, 1980. Born in Missouri, he had been an independent contractor for the past 25 years, and a member of the Elks for over 25 years. Survivors include his wife, Florence, Wikieup, 2 brothers, Glenn, Phoenix and Howard, Tonopah; 1 sister, Wilma Sanborn, Yarnell; 2 daughters, Patricia Shepard, Tempe, and Beverly Suter, Skull Valley Services were held Thursday, March 20, at 10 a.m. in Genung Memorial Park in Peeples Valley. Pastor Merle Heatwole officiated.
