HAWKINS, Oscar Henry

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg Arizona May 29, 1980 Oscar Henry Hawkins, 79, died May 20, 1980 in the Wickenburg Community Hospital. Born in Oklahoma and a printer for the Kansas City Star for 36 years, he had spent the past six winter seasons in Wickenburg, living in Hesperus, Colorado, in the summer. Survivors include his wife Alice Hawkins; there daughter, Jody Chenoweth, Kansas, Judy Latchaw, Colorado, and Susan Ross, Kansas, a sister Beula White, Kansas; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services, conducted by Bert Follmar, were held at the Wickenburg Funeral Home on Friday, May 23 at 2 p.m.
